"Feeding Time at the Zoo"

Imagine this scenario, a family trip to the zoo. Simple enough, but this is no ordinary zoo, and no ordinary family. This is earth 2000 years from now, aliens have invaded and enslaved the human race; we are no longer the dominant species on the planet. This zoo is filled with earth animals, but they don't have a taste for lamb and peanuts, they eat human flesh. Small alien children pay the counter person for fingers and toes to toss to the monkeys. The parents hand over the money without a second thought because they know the joy it will bring to their children. They don’t even think of the brutal slaughter that some poor human went through in order for them to enjoy their day at the zoo, it's just second nature to them. Later on that night they leave the kid at home with the baby sitter so they can go out for a nice dinner in only the fanciest of restaurants. The cuisine here is the best from all over the galaxy, and the highest priced meal is prime sapiens meat charbroiled to perfection with a zesty kick to it. People pay top dollar to enjoy these luxuries. The farms can barely keep up with the demand on human meat, they are mating their stock daily but the 9 month incubation period is just too long. So the government decides to genetically tamper with the humans DNA code in order to shorten the pregnancy and almost ensure at least 2 or 3 children per birth. Not only that but clone operations are making a killing making copies of the best human samples available. Everyone is making a profit here on earth 2000 years in the future, and it is all at the cost of someone else life, a life that they hold no meaning too, because humans have no souls and they are so abundant. The funny part about this world, cows and chickens are extinct.
